Website Design for Artists, Performers & Cultural Projects
I design and develop bespoke websites for established artists, performers, and cultural organisations working across music, performance and art.
My practice focuses on creating distinctive digital experiences that reflect the identity and atmosphere of creative work.
Based in the UK and working internationally, I collaborate with musicians, producers, DJs, festivals, studios, and independent cultural projects seeking a considered and long-lasting online presence.
Each project is approached as a creative collaboration, balancing visual design, interaction, and technical build to create websites that feel intentional and characterful.
What I do
Custom Website Design & Development
Working with a range of creative platforms and tools, I custom-design, develop and manage websites for bands, musicians, DJs, producers, creative practitioners, music venues, studios, theatre companies, filmmakers, performers and artists who want to make an impact online.
Many artist and music websites prioritise functionality but lose personality in the process. My approach treats a website as an extension of the work itself — considering pacing, movement, typography, and visual tone alongside structure and usability.
Projects are custom designed and built to reflect the character of the artist or organisation, creating an experience that feels cohesive with their wider creative output.
I build most websites using WordPress, allowing flexibility and long-term control while supporting highly customised design and interaction. This approach combines creative freedom with a stable and maintainable platform suitable for evolving projects, touring artists, and growing catalogues.
Where appropriate, I utilise motion design and bespoke interactive elements tailored to the needs of the work.
About Me
With over 20 years experience designing, developing and managing websites and creative media in the music, live events, and education sectors, I made the switch to full-time freelance web and creative design in 2018.
Working from my studio in the beautiful town of Totnes, South Devon, UK, I design, build and manage websites for clients across the UK and internationally.
In addition to web and visual design, I create and edit video and audio content and produce and perform music for a range of projects.
